Thiago Strake

Thiago joined Measured Risk Portfolios as a Trading Associate in 2026. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics.

His interest in trading stems from the combination of business knowledge and mathematical problem-solving. Throughout college, Thiago built, tested, and executed strategies for both research and trading, across a range of asset classes. Today, he assists the MRP trading team in trade reconciliation, execution, and tool development.

Thiago was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and grew up in San Diego, California. Outside of work, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and learning. He is passionate about topics including geography, economics, and computer science.
